Spring Age
Players aged 15 in Grade 9 (currently) - 17 and NOT in grade 12.
Equipment
All football equipment is provided, Except cleats and girdles.
*Cleats and Girdles are the responsibility of the player. Girdles are available for a fee on request if required

Games: Shouldice Athletic Park
Practices: The field is located between Aurora Park Link NE and Harvest Hills Link NE
* Upper Field East of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness
2024 Evaluation dates
Start: February 18, 2024
Practices
Evaluation Practices start - February 18, 2024
March - March practices begin March 18, 2024. Once the team is registered Practices will be held three times per week: Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Game day is Thursdays, and Playoff games Fridays.
Season
The Spring Football typically season starts in March and runs throughout May. Including playoffs
The Spring Football season schedule for 2024 will be set out by CSFA.
Calgary Spring Football League Schedule
Games are typically played on Thursday or Friday nights at Shouldice Athletic Park.
Practices will be held at our Hilltoppers Practice Field.

Fees
Evaluations: Players are required to cover the mandatory evaluation fee of $85, which incorporates the Football Alberta Insurance for the player. This fee must be paid separately from your online registration and prior to the commencement of Camp, Evaluations, and/or the Season.
Once the player's registration forms have been collected and verified. A new registration link will be issued. Players will then officially be registered with Football Alberta.
Spring football season fees will be due in full before equipment is issued.

2024 Spring Team Fees will be: $650
SUBSIDIES
The Hilltoppers will work with every family to ensure economic challenges never prevent a player from joining the Hilltoppers family.
2024 Spring Fees $650 will be collected in FULL once the team is selected and before the equipment handout.
Subsidies are available to those who qualify through Kidsport and Jumpstart programs.

Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. We're committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.
Jumpstart is a national charity with a commitment to local communities. Organized sports connect kids to their communities.
Canadian Tire Corporation is Jumpstart’s biggest supporter as it funds all the general administrative expenses of Jumpstart, which means 100% of customer donations go directly to help kids in need.
Community Partners, like the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Boys and Girls Club, Maison de la Famille, URLS, Centre Jeunesse and numerous others work with local Jumpstart Chapters to identify the kids whose families need Jumpstart’s funding assistance to get them off the sidelines and into the game. What kids do is up to them; we’re here to help them do it.

How to apply
ABOUT KidSport Calgary & Area
We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees, as well as providing no-cost equipment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Calgary & Area can play a season of sport.
Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $500 per child/year, for kids who live in Calgary & Area. If you live outside of Calgary & Area please click on the chapter list to find your local chapter.
KidSportTM provides grants for children 18 and under to participate in a sport season of their choice. KidSport works to fulfill its mission of eliminating financial barriers to sport participation,
